A Family Business

The Roche family has been in the hair and beauty business in Kimmage for over 60 years, specialising in wigs, toupees and hairpieces. In 1986, Maura and Fergus Roche opened a dedicated wig centre to cater specifically for people with hair loss due to chemotherapy, alopecia or natural hair thinning.

Since 2006, Roches Hair Solutions has been under the expert management of Maura and Fergus’ daughter, Anne Roche, and her team of qualified hairdressers. The business still retains all the elements that have made it Ireland’s leading provider of hair solutions, specialising in client advice and support, provision and ongoing care of wigs in a client-friendly, private environment, also available through our mobile service.

Breast Care Centre

In October 2010, Roches Hair Solutions changed their name to Roches – ‘promoting positive appearance’. After forty years of providing expert care and advice on hair loss and wigs, they now also have added breast care and prosthesis fitting to their overall service. The Wig Centre has now been expanded and transformed into a beautiful, intimate and private space for prosthesis clients following a full or partial mastectomy. This facility is managed by our specialist fitter, Domenica Doyle, who is trained in prosthesis fitting, and wears one herself so she has total empathy with our clients.
