A personal insight into hair loss...
When our image is suddenly altered through hair loss it can be a traumatic time. It’s hard for others to understand but both my mother Maura and I are in the unusual position of having been through cancer treatment ourselves so have a unique and empathetic insight into how important looking ‘normal’ is.
We know the difference being properly fitted with the right hair piece makes, and how important that is for your confidence and self esteem. For this reason we train our staff to the highest standards to ensure you get the best outcome.
All our sessions take place one-to-one in our private consultation rooms where we will help you choose the most suitable wig for you. We welcome friends or family members for that little extra support or that valued second opinion.
We are also keen to share our knowledge and expertise with medical personnel. Each year Roches give lectures on hair-loss and chemotherapy to oncology student nurses in UCD and on other nurse training programmes in various hospitals. We also run our own ‘positive appearance workshops’ in our centre in Kimmage and in various hospitals and clinics. We love helping clients find solutions to the appearance related side effects of hair loss and breast surgery.
We’d love to see you so to be kept up to date with our upcoming events, please complete your details opposite. Likewise, call us with your questions or to book a free no-obligation consultation.
