Free PhiBrows at Roches for people affected by cancer or alopecia

We are absolutely delighted to be running a collaboration with PhiBrows By Michelle Cullen here at Roches in Kimmage over the next few months.

Michelle has very kindly offered us two days per month where she will do PhiBrows for two women affected by cancer or alopecia each day in our new workshop space COMPLETELY FREE OF CHARGE.

Michelle is a breast cancer survivor herself and knows just how much the loss of your eyebrows can affect the way you feel about your appearance. After Michelle’s own breast cancer experience she found a new passion in life – the PhiBrow technique for rebuilding eyebrows – and since then she has worked hard to bring her skill level right up to expert.

Michelle has a busy salon based in Maynooth and is coming to Roches to help as many women as she can over the next few months as her way of giving back.

The PhiBrows technique is a type of semi-permanent make-up for brows, lasting 18 months to 2 years. PhiBrows microblade tiny realistic hair strokes into the skin and are best suited to very fine brows. The appearance is very natural and blends with or without hair along the brow bone. The pigment is chosen to match the natural hair or brow colour. Strokes are drawn in the direction of natural hair growth to achieve a natural looking brow.

PhiBrows are suitable for anyone experiencing brow loss, due to chemotherapy or alopecia. PhiBrows can be done immediately before chemotherapy begins or 3 months after chemotherapy has ended. Some hospitals may allow PhiBrows to be done during chemotherapy, check with your doctor first.
