Have you put a drain pouch on your hospital bag list yet? If not, we highly recommend it as an essential product. They are specially designed to attach to your recovery garments, or your post surgery bra, and securely store your drain system.
The drain pouch attaches using Velcro and is fantastic for ensuring your drains do not get tugged on or caught in objects. They are made from cotton and elastane so should not cause any irritation to tender skin and should also help wick away moisture.
They are designed to fit standard shape and size drains, such as Jackson-Pratt® and Hemovac®. A drain pouch may seem to be an optional accessory but, post recovery our customers always highly rate them as essential products.
TIPS FOR GETTING THE MOST FROM YOUR BRA ATTACHING DRAIN POUCH:
- Pair with a front closure post surgery bra for optimum comfort
- Use your drain pouch to avoid drains getting tangled in bedding
